October 1, 2005 - Record books due to 4-H Leaders.

October 9, 2005 - Cleanup at the 4-H Log Cabin on Cranbury Road. All day. Rain? - Call the 4-H Office.
October 15, 2005 - Zoo Crew - Work at the Tiki Hut, by the Haunted House (Fairgrounds, Cranbury Rd., East Brunswick). If
you can help, please contact us (ZooCrew4h@yahoo.com) or just show up!! Arrive between 6:30 and 7:00. Thank you to all members who
can help!!
November 3, 2005 - We are asking each family to bring $10.00 to donate for our community service: Adopt a family.
We will give the money or a gift certificate to a family from Louisianna that has relocated in Perth Amboy. We are also
asking for canned goods to give them.
We will make ice cream sundaes. The club provides the ice cream & we are asking
each family to bring a topping to share.
December 1, 2005 - Speaker from the State ASPCA. Donate a bag of dog food, if you can.
January 14, 2006 - Holiday Party. - See EVENTS below. (Date changed from January 7th)
RSVP BY JANUARY 3RD TO MR. MILLER. There will be no January Meeting.
February 2, 2006 - Guest Speaker: Bob Petroski will give a talk on Cavies.

EVENTS:
September 23-25 - Fall Camp Weekend. CANCELLED.
October 1, 2005 - Record books due to 4-H Leaders.
October 2, 2005 - 4-H Open House. 1 to 4pm. All clubs should be there! Bring animals to show & to pet.
October Weekends - Help and ideas are needed. Haunted House at the Fairgrounds, Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.
Helpers needed. For more information, contact teencouncil04@yahoo.com Friday & Saturday evenings 7-11 PM beginning October 7th to 29th. 4-H members grades 6 and up can help.
Proceeds go toward 4-H Project GIFT. We will need some volunteers because each Club is asked to help run the Tiki Hut.

November 7, 2005 - Craft Workshop and Dessert Swap. Log Cabin.
November 12, 2005 - Middlesex County Small Animal Show at the Log Cabin, Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, NJ (Fairgrounds).
December 11, 2005 - Project Gift, by Teen Council. Donations of NEW gift items can be dropped off at the November
or December Zoo Crew meeting or at the Log Cabin.
January 14, 2006 - (Date changed from January 7th) Zoo Crew Holiday Party. 6:00 PM at Clara Barton First Aid Squad.
$10.00 per family includes pizza, subs and salads. Please bring a snack and a drink to share (2 liter bottle or similar
size). We are also having a $5.00 GRAB BAG if your child would like to participate. Please send a gift that can
be used for either a girl or boy. RSVP BY JANUARY 3 TO MR. MILLER!! we need a head count for food.
January 8, 2006 - Middlesex County 4-H Awards Ceremony at the Log Cabin. 2:00 pm.

March 11, 2006 - NJ Junior Breeder and Young Farmer Symposium - see PDF above.
March/April 2006 - Possible overnight at the log cabin for small animal clubs.

Fair:
July - Set up for the Middlesex County Fair
Sunday before Fair opens - Small Animal Show at Fair
August 2006 - Middlesex County Fair. Each club has shifts to work; they can be split.
Last day of Fair - Take animals home and HELP TAKE DOWN TENT (not literally).

OTHER:
1. Save for Fair: Blankets & Sheets -
please save old blankets to donate for the fair. They will be used to cover the cages on chilly nights.
Save: tuna
& cat food cans for the fair, to be used for food dishes. They will be recycled after the fair.
2. Tricky Tray baskets are needed to be raffled off at the Fair - approximately $30.00 value (or higher). Every 4-H
club does at least one basket. Bring items to be added to the basket(s) to a club meeting (May or June) or contact Mr.
Miller. Or donate a basket.
